Silencer Round Standard

Airtec sound attenuators, the brand leader in the air movement industry, present the all new circular design which incorporates modern technology keeping pace with continued development and change. Initially intended for use with axial flow fans these circular modules have many unique features which ensure and maintains ifs brand leader status and there is no limit to the number of applications for which these highly versatile circular sound absorbers may be used.

Manufactured in standard metric diameters from 315mm to 1250mm with flanges drilled to match the LCA range of axial flow fans.

Two types are available, the straight through design with negligible pressure loss and the podded with centrally mounted aerodynamic absorbent pod with increased attenuation but additional pressure loss.

The are three length sizes available for each silencer. These are 1.0D where the length is equal to the diameter, 1.5D where the length is one and a half times the diameter and 2.0D which is twice the diameter of the fan / attenuator.
